John - I am thrilled for you and know how it feels to leave a job that was right. I just left a position as executive director of a homeless shelter to do human resources at an exclusive private school. I am not completely extricated from my former responsibilities, but soon I will be down to one job. My kids are already better off and able to take the variety of "lessons" that kids their age want to take (boy-8, girl-6).

Anyway, enjoy the time, get your head together and decide what you want to do next!
Other than my sister you are my longest friend. Would love to reconnect.
